LWC Archery releases 2019-20 schedule By Christopher Coombs First-year Lindsey Wilson archery coach Mark Elam announced the 2019-20 Blue Raider schedule today. In total eight events are on the docket for LWC this season including three Mid-South Conference Championships and three national championships for three different shooting disciplines. The Lindsey Wilson season kicks off on Sept. 20 with the 3D regional's in Barbourville, Ky., before heading to Williamsburg, Ky., for the 3D MSC Championship. The championship is being hosted by Cumberlands (Ky.). Last season the Blue Raider finished in third place out of nine teams at the event. From there it is off to Foley, Alabama for the first of three national championships of the season. LWC will compete at the 3D nationals across three days of completion which begin on Oct. 4. The Blue Raiders move into the indoor portion of their schedule in February when they compete at indoor regionals and nationals on the 14-15 in Madisonville, Ky. The following day the Blue Raiders stay in Madisonville to compete at the indoor MSC Championship where LWC finished in fourth place a year ago. On April 8-9, Lindsey Wilson competes in their first outdoor competition of the season as they travel to Williamsburg for the outdoor regional. LWC continues action in Williamsburg the next day as they take part in the Outdoor MSC Championship hosted by Cumberlands. The Blue Raiders wrap up their season on May 14-17 when they are scheduled to take part in the Outdoor National Championship in Chula Vista, California. Last season the Blue Raiders finished the championship in sixth place of the 60 team field as Taylor Bell posted a runner-up finish in the men's bowhunter discipline.
