Mrs. Rebecca Kay "Sissy" Beams of Greensburg, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at her residence. She was 56 years old.

The funeral services for Rebecca Kay "Sissy" Beams will be conducted at 1pmCT on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Pierce Community Cemetery. Bro. Joey Hicks officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Saturday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Sunday until time for the funeral service.


Mrs. Rebecca Kay "Sissy" Beams of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Laveria Curry Brandenburg of Greensburg and the late Willard Brandenburg, was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana and departed this life on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at her residence. She was 56 years, one month, and five days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ. She was an Examiner at Campbellsville Apparel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Thomas "Tommy" Beams on July 2, 2013 having united in marriage on November 28, 2003.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Stephanie and Steven Blythe of Edmonton, Samantha and Ryan Harper of Elizabethtown; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Michael Brandon and Ashley McKibben, Jessie and Lindsey Underwood, Howard Beams all of Greensburg; thirteen grandchildren: Owen Blythe, Landon Blythe of Edmonton, Audree McKibben, Mason McKibben, Tanner McKibben, Riley Underwood, Bryson Underwood, Sierra Beams, Colton Beams, Jaylee Beams all of Greensburg, Kaden Price, Kodie Price, Wesley Harper all of Elizaebethtown; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Juanita and David McKinney, Teresa Harlow both of Greensburg; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Willard Brandenburg Jr of Louisiana, Gary Dale and Lisa Brandenburg of Greensburg and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Rebecca Kay "Sissy" Beams was also preceded in death by a daughter: Tonya McKibben on February 22, 1981, a grandson: Michael Blayton McKibben on June 27, 2006 and a sister: Brenda.

Honorary Pallbearers: David Mckinney, Dale Brandenburg, Blake Brandenburg, Daniel Tucker, Joey Hicks, Josh Bostic, Rick Curry

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pierce Community Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
