Edward R. Seabolt, 82

Edward R. Seabolt, 82, 385 Edmonton Road, Columbia, KY, died Thursday , February 27, 2003, at Westlake Cumberland Hospital.

Mr. Seabolt had operated a popular restaurant in Dayton, Ohio. and was later a salesman for the Fruehauf company. He retired to Columbia, drawn by nearby Green River Lake and the hills area, and never left his adopted home.

He was an avid fisherman as well as a gifted storyteller.

He was a native of Osaka, VA. He was the son of the late Ryburn Wesley and Sarah Jane Wallin Seabolt and a member of the Columbia Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Seabolt.

He is survived by four special people in his life: grandsons Kyle Cundiff and Logan Nissley, and special friends Kathy and Daniel Nissley.

His funeral service will be Friday, February 28, 2003, at 6:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, with burial on Saturday, March 1, at 1:00 p.m., EST, at Lee Memorial Gardens in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

Visitation is after 3:00 p.m., Friday.

Grissom Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
