Jesse Murphy, 76, Casey County, KY (1943-2019) Jesse Murphy, age 76, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday July 4, 2019 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET Monday July 8, 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Monty Lynn officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9pmET Sunday July 7th, 2019 and after 8amET Monday. He was born in Liberty, KY on July 1, 1943 a son of the late John Thomas Murphy and Gertie Carr Murphy. Jesse was a retired Ford Motor Co. Employee. Survivors include: His Spouse: Norma Jean "Jeanie" Davis Murphy, Two Daughters: Pam and (Rick) West of Liberty and Karla Murphy of Danville, One Great Grandson whom they raised: Dakota Pevely of Liberty, Five Grandchildren: Aaron West, Rachel West, Jenna Hodges, Haley West and Jeremiah West, Three Great Grandchildren: Aidan and Jacob West and Brooklyn Brown, Two Brothers: Otis Murphy of Brooklyn, IN, Osburn Murphy of Gosport, IN One Sister: Doris Santee of Indianapolis, IN. Preceding him in death besides his parents were three grandchildren: Jason West, Jessica West and Mackenzie West; one Brother: Earnest Murphy; and One Sister: Sylvia Peyton.
