Mark Allen Acree, 47, Columbia, KY native (1972-2019)

Mark Allen Acree of Russell Springs, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at UK Heathcare Hospital in Lexington. He was 47 years old.

The funeral service for Mark Allen Acree will be held at NoonCT on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Johnny Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the White's Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 5pmCT until 8pmCT on Sunday and after 8amCT on Monday until funeral time at NoonCT.


He was born May 16, 1972 in Columbia, KY.

Mark was a farmer and a member of White's Chapel Separate Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mont & Ruby Acree and maternal grandparents, Minnie & Robert Johnson

Survivors include:
  • His wife, Stephanie Acree, Russell Springs
  • Two sons, Nathan Acree, Russell Springs, and John Robertson, Russell Springs
  • Four daughters: Marketa (Colton) Collins, Russell Springs, Elizabeth (Timmy) Sample, Russell Springs, Haley Acree, Russell Springs, and Trisha Robertson, Russell Springs
  • His parents, Jimmie & Delores Acree, Russell Springs
  • Two sisters, Tracy (Barry) Stephens, Russell Springs, and Kelly (Roger) York, Russell Springs
  • 11 grandchildren
  • 19 very special nieces & nephews
  • One great niece
  • A host of beloved friends and family
Pallbearers: Nathan Acree, John Robertson, Jamie Bernard, Johnathan Gaskins, Josh Flatt, Erik Andrews.

Honorary Pallbearers: Shawn Atchley, Brian Atchley, Isaiah Parker, Freddie Andrew, Roger York, Barry Stephens, Colton Collins.
