Carolyn Jean (Sissy) Gaddis, 73, Marrowbone, KY (1946-2019)

Carolyn Jean "Sissy" Gaddis, age 73 of Marrowbone, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her home.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 4pmCT until 9pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY. Cremation will follow the visitation.


Sissy was born on February 07, 1946 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Fred Gaddis and Dorothy Petty Gaddis.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Lester Pete Gaddis and one sister, Phyllis Ann Works.

Sissy was a retired Civil Service Employee and had worked for many years in the medical records department of Cumberland County Hospital.

Survivors Include: One Nephew, Benji Works and his wife Donna of Marrowbone, KY

One Niece, Leslie Gaddis of Oklahoma
