Brody, thank you for writing and questioning how money is spent in your hometown and what the plans are. And thank you for responding to Bobby Morrison's question, "where's the gap?" What a good question to get us thinking about where the needs are for bringing more jobs to Adair County, right?

This road in the Green River Industrial Park is meant to attract businesses looking at towns like ours in which they might locate. The Economic Development Authority of Adair County, led by Mark Dykes, believes the road will help jobs recruitment efforts when they can show visitors the available lots on a road that does not end up in a mud puddle.

You and any of your fellow students would be welcome at the every third Tuesday monthly public EDA meetings where the road is in the planning stages now. The meetings are at 8amCT in the Chamber of Commerce building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia. - Linda Waggener
