Brenda M. Wilkinson, 78, Burkesville, KY (1940-2019) Mrs. Brenda M. Wilkinson of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, having attained the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 5 days. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 28, 2019, at 11amCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main St, Burkesville, KY. Burial will be in the Stalcup Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 2pmCT on Thursday, June 27, 2019, until the funeral hour on Friday. She was born in Merritt, Michigan on Sunday, August 18, 1940, the daughter of Gilbert and Meta (Baird) Busch. She was of Church of Christ faith, a member of Hickory Grove Church of Christ, and a School Administrator for the Michigan Public School System. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Randolph. She is survived by her husband, Tom Wilkinson of Burkesville Kentucky, whom she married Friday, May 27, 1988, her children, Rita (Larry) Bender of Irons, Michigan, Laurie (Brian) MacDonald of Gowen, Michigan, Diane Goller of Gowen, Michigan, Joe (Tammy) Potratz of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Tammy (James) Cummings of San Marcos, California, Tom (Wendy) Petersen of Dunnellon, Florida, twenty-seven grandchildren, and thirty great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to Norton Children's Hospital (502-629-5437 | https://nortonchildrens.com/donate).
