Wilma Noe Sweeney, 65, Glasgow, KY (1954-2019) Wilma Noe Sweeney of Glasgow passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the T.J. Samson Hospital. She was 65 years old. The funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Noe Sweeney will be conducted at 1pmCT on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Bro. Kelvin Edwards will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 7amCT on Thursday until time of the funeral service. Mrs. Wilma Noe Sweeney of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Greensburg, daughter of the late William Cecil Noe and Mae Jerlean Poynter Noe, was born on Tuesday, April 27, 1954 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 65 years, one month, and 20 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church, and was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Survived by her husband of 45 years, Donnie Louis Sweeney of Glasgow, having united in marriage on April 7, 1974. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Donna and Travis Warren of Glasgow; three grandchildren: Emma Warren, Mary Claire Warren, and Caleb Warren all of Glasgow; two sisters-in-law: Mardell Hagan, and Rosie Noe both of Glasgow; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Sweeney was also preceded in death by two brothers: James Ollie Noe, and William Hase Noe. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Mike Akin, Jeff Wright, John Tyler Bagby, Kevin Atwood, Jerry Scott, Travis Warren, Ricky Jones. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
