Ms. Owens J-class changing face of ACHS newspaper

The Adair County High School Journalism class, under the direction of Ms. Donna Owens, will be revamping the school newspaper this semester. "Indian Pride" is the new name of the paper with the slogan, "Sending out Smoke Signals" which incorporates the old name. Four issues will be printed this semester starting in mid-September.

Ms. Owens says, "I'd like to help our students reach out to the community through our school newspaper and let folks know more about what's happening at school." The new edition is scheduled to have more comprehensive writing on more topics.

Working with Ms. Owens are class members (in alphabetical order): Ben Antle, Nicole Blakey, Tim Blevins, Patricia Bragg, Elizabeth Burton, Sheavon Curry, Nikki Davidson, Jennifer Dudley, Drew Hodges, Kristie Huddleston, Brandon Knifley, Megan Long, Amy Moore, Joe(?) Murley, Paul Pelly, Krystal Redmon, Corey Rogers, Tracey Simpson, Tia Smith, Lori Sneed, Alisa Steinhilber, Chris Taylor, Ivy Winfrey and Joel Yarberry.
