Jerry Dale Meadows, 62, Green County, KY (1957-2019) Jerry Dale Meadows of Green County, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, May 27, 2019 at his home. He was 62 years, four months, and five days of age. The funeral services will be conducted at 1pmCT Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Pat Humphrey officiating. Visitation is requested until time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Joe Matney, Jeremy Meadows, Daniel Matney, Keith Jewell, Terry Larson, Andrew Jayne and Scott Jayne. Honorary Pallbearers: John Meadows, Mike Kelly, Kenny Jewell and Bill Brown. He was the son of Mary Posey Meadows of Metcalfe County and the late Garland Meadows, born on Tuesday, January 22, 1957 in Taylor County. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a farmer. He is survived by three step-children: Andrew Jayne, Scott Jayne both of Kansas, and Christina Jayne of Metcalfe County; a brother: Gary "Blondie" Meadows of Adair County; a sister and brother-in-law: Patsy and Danny Matney of Green County; 9 step-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother: Bruce Meadows in 1995. The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
