Bobby Allen, 75, Campbellsville, KY (1943-2019) Bobby was very talented at many things and used those talents in many ways; as an assistant mail carrier, an assistant bus driver, a welder, a marksman and was known for his ability to line up scopes. Bobby Allen of Campbellsville passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was 75 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Freddy Thompson and Bro. Mike Gribbins. Burial will follow in Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Bobby Allen of Campbellsville, son of the late Glen Davis "Buddy" Thompson and Elsie Jane Allen, was born October 27, 1943 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 8:50 A.M., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle. Bobby was very talented at many things and used those talents in many ways; as an assistant mail carrier, an assistant bus driver, a welder, a marksman and was known for his ability to line up scopes. He enjoyed watching Nascar and was a big Dale Earnhardt fan. He united in marriage to Thelma Jean Parrott November 19, 1966. Besides his wife, Thelma Jean Allen of Campbellsville, he is survived by a special friend and neighbor, Roy Skaggs of Campbellsville, and many other relatives and friends. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to floral gifts or Hosparus of Green River and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
