Letter: Rose Garden is beautiful!

Ellen Zornes writes:
It is beautiful! Our KY-ASAP (substance abuse coalition) used to meet there and had a Christmas appreciation open house there for several years.

Some of us were talking one day about how there used to be a beautiful rose garden there. We found the Julia Horton Rose Garden article on the front room wall and decided it should be recovered. We knew it was out of our ken but we thought of the Garden Club. Barbara Armitage invited us to meet with the club. We did...they did...and it remains simply beautiful!

They have worked hard year after year to keep the roses and the other gardens looking their best. The community owes the Garden Club a huge debt. --Ellen
