Lindsey Wilson Cycling signs Juan Diego Abadie

By Benjamin Riegger

The Lindsey Wilson cycling team has added Juan Diego Abadie to the upcoming 2019-20 roster, announced head coach Joshua Patton on Monday.

Abadie comes to Lindsey Wilson Honduras as a Mountain bike racer. Abadie is set to compete in the downhill and dual slalom races for Lindsey Wilson, in addition to entering endurance mountain bike racing.

Abadie found the program because of the strong reputation in mountain bike racing. His decision to come to Lindsey Wilson was based on the facilities and his ability to train to advance his racing due to the proximity to outstanding mountain biking trails.

Everything I have seen of Juan's riding has been great and I'm excited to see where his skill takes him after spending more time at our facilities and have access to our training program," Patton Said. "Juan has been great communicating with. He's always excited, has a hardworking attitude, and a great student and I'm looking forward to him being part of our team in the fall."

Abadie is planning to major in Business while attending Lindsey Wilson.
