Howard 'Elmer' Redmon, 94, Russell County, KY (1924-2019) Howard "Elmer" Redmon, 94, of Russell Springs, died Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Liberty Care & Rehab Center in Liberty. Funeral service for Howard "Elmer" Redmon will be 12noonCT/1pmET Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Coffey officiating. Visitation 9am Saturday until funeral time. Interment in the Bethlehem Cemetery. He was born May 30, 1924 in Russell County to the late William Howard & Sarah Bray Redmon. He was a farmer and and member of Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lacona Gentry Redmon; daughter, Loretta Redmon; 5 sisters, Lula Stargel, Casey Brown, Zona Franklin, Pearlie Teague, Lillie Frances Hughes; 5 brothers, William Alford Redmon, Joe Green Redmon, Ira Redman, John Redmon, Bluford Redmon Survivors include 2 children: Juanita (Edwin) Brown, Russell Springs Randall (Mary) Redmon, Russell Springs 5 grandchildren: Jessica Abrell, Samantha Redmon, Crystal Pendleton Adam Flanagan, Roy Flanagan 9 great grandchildren The family requests that contributions of sympathy be made to the Bethlehem Cemetery.
