Julia F. Burris, 63, Campbellsville, KY (1956-2019) Julia enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and her dogs, Kimber and Bear. Julia F. Burris of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Louisville at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. She was 63 years old. The funeral service for Julia F. Burris will be conducted Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11amET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY, with burial to follow in the Lebanon National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Sunday at the funeral home. Julia F. Burris, the daughter of the late Coakley and Marcella (Janes) Burris, was born Tuesday, February 14, 1956 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Louisville at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. She was 63 years, 2 months and 4 days of age. She was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army as a Medic and was of the Methodist Faith. Julia enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and her dogs, Kimber and Bear. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Sheila Burris and a brother who preceded her in death in infancy. Survivors a son and daughter: William "Willie: Wilson and wife Kellie and Leah Simpson, all of Campbellsville; a brother: Steven Burris and wife Sue of Magnolia; three grandchildren: Brylee, Braxton and Blaklee Wilson; a special friend: Terri Burris and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorials are suggested to the Funeral Expense Fund which can be made at the funeral home or at lrpetty.com. L.R. Petty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at lrpetty.com.
