Easter egg hunts, special buffets at State Resort Parks

Frankfort, KY -. (April 9, 2019) - The menu for the annual Easter Buffet at 15 Kentucky State Park Resort Parks on Sunday, April 21, 2019, has been set. The menu at the resort park restaurants includes roast beef carved on the line, baked country ham, fresh fruit, garden vegetables, salad and desserts. Each of the 15 resort parks serving the buffet will also offer two additional regional entrees.
  • Lake Cumberland State Resort Park Easter Egg Hunt, April 20, 2019. Visit Lake Cumberland State Resort Park on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 11amCT for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny will be joining us for all the fun! Free mini golf from 11amCT to 3pmCT. Kids eat free in the Rowena Landing Restaurant, with the purchase of an adult lunch buffet. The park's recreation staff will be hosting loads of fun games and activities! Call 270-343-3111.

  • Barren River Lake State Resort Park Easter Egg Hunt, April 20, 2019. More than 2,000 candy and toy-filled eggs will be hidden at Barren River Lake State Resort Park for kids to find! A prize will be awarded to the finder of the "special egg" in each age category. Free. Starts at 10amCT on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Participants meet at the Tennis Court Shelter near the lodge parking lot. Call 270-646-2151.

  • Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 20, 2019. Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park has traveled east of the sunrise to Bunny Hollow, where jellybean trees grow and marshmallow chicks peep in the sunrise, to find Peter Cottontail. At 10:30amCT on April 20, Peter will begin his egg hunt in the campground. Eggs of all colors have been hidden. Fun for all ages! Call 270-433-7431.
