Adair County Fiscal Court called meeting - report Adair County Fiscal Court met in a special called session Thursday, March 28, 2019 in the Annex Basement. County Judge Executive Gale Cowan, County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison and four of the magistrates, Daryl Flatt, Harold Burton, Billy Coffey and Terry Hadley, were present. Actions taken with no dissenting votes included: Approval of Director Jason Upchurch's request to hire two part time 911 employees at $9.60 per hour. Ashley Feese and Madison Bray are the new hires. Approval of the WBKO request to put a television camera on the annex to be able to show video of the Public Square in Columbia on their weather reports. Voted to approve application for TVA funds to the Adair County Economic Development Authority. Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, the next being Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 6pmCT in the basement meeting room of the Courthouse Annex on the Square in Columbia.
