Campbellsville, KY - On Thursday, March 21, 2019, Green River Army Corps of Engineers Ranger Lori Brewster presented certificates of appreciation to Kentucky Conservation Officer Jared Ervin, Cody Berry, and John Harris (Ret.) for their enforcement efforts in 2018.

In particular, the Conservation Officers were recognized for their pro-active approach to bringing enforcement action against drug and alcohol abusers on Green River Wildlife Management Area in Adair and Taylor Counties.

Each Officer was presented with a citation extending the appreciation of the USACE and was signed by Antoinette R. Gant, Colonel, Corps of Engineers Commanding.

Green River Wildlife Management Area is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, but is managed by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.

Kentucky Conservation Officers are committed to providing a safe, drug-free environment for the citizens of the Commonwealth to enjoy. The dedication and consistency of each of the three Officers recognized is a testament to their commitment and selfless service. Because of their efforts thousands of people experienced a safer, more enjoyable place to recreate.
