Lindsey's Kevin Hallmon claims national title

Brookings, SD - The Lindsey Wilson Men's Indoor Track & Field team wrapped up the final day of competition on Saturday at the 2019 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, held at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

Lindsey Wilson and Cumberlands (KY) finished tied for fourth with 35 points each.

Kevin Hallmon notched a national championship in the men's 200-yard dash with a final time of 20.95 seconds.


Hallmon performed well for Lindsey Wilson on Saturday, finishing fourth in the 60-meter as well with a time of 6.78 seconds. Hallmon picked up 15 points for LWC and two All-American honors during his events.

Goabaone Mosheleketi earned eight team points with his finish in the triple jump. Mosheleketi finished with a distance of 15.13 meters to place second as well as earning another All-American honor for his performance in the event.

Pierre Ezanno joined Mosheleketi in the triple jump, finishing fifth overall to also earn All-American honors.
