Ernestine Kemp Lloyd, 75, Adair County, KY (1943-2019) She loved watching the Adair County Indians, University of Kentucky Wildcats and the Adair County Band. She was a member and piano player at the Gradyville United Methodist Church, a former factory worker at several different sewing factories and retired from the Adair County School System where she was a cook at ACHS. Ernestine Kemp Lloyd, 75, of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 8:25amCT at Summit Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia Cemetery. Visitation is after 11amCT Saturday. Casket Bearers will be: Todd Wheeler, Zachary Ballou, Chris Lloyd, Dale Mann, Scott Burton and Scott Reliford. She was born June 21, 1943, in the Bliss community of Adair County, to the late Owen and Marie Emma Rogers Kemp and also preceded in death by her brother, George Rayburn Kemp. Survivors include: Two sons - Doyle Lloyd and his wife Carolee of Columbia, Jeff Lloyd and his wife Heather of Chicago, IL Two daughters - Cynthia Mann and Teresa Ballou, both of Columbia One sister - Jean Wheeler and her husband Lewis of Columbia Eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren Several other relatives and friends Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
