Adair County Genealogical Society Offers Limited Number Of Newest Book "bible R This article first appeared in issue 20, and was written by Staff. The full title appeared as: Adair County Genealogical Society offers limited number of newest book "Bible Records". The Adair County Genealogical Society has a limited number of the Society's newest publication, "Bible Records," transcribed by Robert Page Watson, for sale at $22.00 each. The 160 page, softcover perfect bound book, in an 8.5x11 format features 159 Bible Records. It was printed by Gregg & Joyce Coomer's Printing Creations, Columbia. Only 100 of the books were produced, and the price was set low enough that the supply should be sold in a short time. Copies can be ordered by writing: The Adair County Genealogical Society, PO Box 613, Columbia, KY 42728. No additional shipping and handling charge is made for copies mailed. The book may also be purchased at the Janice Holt Giles Memorial Library on Greensburg Street in Columbia, or by contacting members of the Adair County Genealogical Society. Subscriptions to the Society's quarterly newsletter, The Adair County Review, are $15 per year, and include a one-year membership in the society. Memberships may be obtained at the same addresses listed in the preceding paragraphs. Randy Flowers is serving as editor of the newsletter at present, taking over for a very busy Michael Watson, whose history of Adair County is expected to be printed this year, possibly as early as summer. Other society and member books are available from members, from author and ACGS member Michael C. Watson, and from author and ACGS member Beverly England. This story was posted on 1998-05-15 12:01:01
