Road closures updated Sunday evening by Adair EM Director

Mike Keltner, Director, Adair County Emergency Management, has provided the county roads Situation Report as of 18:30pmCT.

Green River above Green River Lake is backing up, creating high water issues in four areas of Adair County, and two roads are closed due to damage received from last night's flash floods.

The list of specific roads and conditions follow:



The Green River above the lake has begun to back up, creating issues:

- 2044 Snake Creek Road at the Snake Creek Bridge has water covering the bridge 18:00...

- Dunville Road where it parallels the river near the Adair / Casey county line has impassable water

- Russell Creek at the Milltown gauge crested at 08:15CST at 18.38' and maintained within 3' until 15:00CST where the level was 15' and 9.41' at 18:30...

- Kemp Rd and the Russell Creek Bridge Adair / Green County Line has impassable water at 17:00...

- Paul Rodgers Rd just past the Kemp Rd Bridge has impassable water at 17:00...

Road closures due to damage:

- L Hancock Road at the Bridge

- Eunice Spur Road near the end.
