Roads closed due to flash flooding, list growing and being updated

8:30pmCT from Adair County Judge Executive Gale Cowan: Old Gradyville Road is closed, water is over the bridge; Billy Sullivan Road, Sulphur Creek Road, and Allen Schoolhouse Road are all impassable at this time due to flooding.

At 9:20pmCT state road 768 in Milltown has water over it.
At 10:20pmCT it was reported that 551 at the Roley Bridge has water over it.
At 10:20pmCT Taylor Ford Road was reported impassable.



Mike Keltner has told her that the waters are rising so quickly all over the county that emergency personnel, the Adair County Road Department and State Road Department are all on the job checking for water on roadways.

She said anyone who knows of water over roads and bridges is asked to call Dispatch at the non-emergency number, 270.384.6464, or for emergencies, call 911.

Emergency Management Services and all road crews are out checking for water-covered roads and bridges. At 8pmCT one road, Old Gradyville Road, was closed due to water over the bridge.
