Bobby Morrison welcomed to EDA Board membership

The regular meeting of the Columbia Adair County Economic Development Authority Board met February 19, 2019 with new Board Member Bobby Morrison welcomed.

He was appointed by Mayor Pam Hoots to replace Randy Burns who relocated last year and gave up the position. Hoots said she feels Morrison will do an excellent job on the EDA Board with his vast experience in business.



Next meeting will be March 19, 2019 at 8amCT in the Board room of the Chamber of Commerce, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY is open to the public. Mark Dykes is chairman; Kenzie Rowe, Secretary; Ann Martin, Treasurer.

The mission of the EDA is "To recruit, stimulate, encourage and support Adair County Industry and Business, utilizing all available community, state and federal resources available, and to further the positive economic development of Columbia and Adair County."
