Community receives grant for Spay and Neuter services

The Adair County Fiscal Court along with Green River Animal Shelter would like to announce the availability of a Grant awarded to Adair County residents from the Department of Agriculture in the amount of $2,000.00 for spay and neutering of 7 Female Cats, 8 Male Cats, 7 Female Dogs, and 7 Male Dogs that will be made available to the residents of Adair County on a first come first serve basis for low income individuals.

Vouchers for the Grant will be given out until May 31, 2019, or until the $2,000.00 has been exhausted. To qualify you must be a resident of Adair County and bring a copy of your W2 or 2018 taxes into Judge Executive Gale Cowan's office for approval to receive a voucher for the designated Clinic performing the spay and neutering services.
