ACSO: Casey Co. man arrested after pursuit

On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 5:42pmCT, Sheriff Josh Brockman attempted to stop a 2003 Nissan SUV after it was observed operating on KY 55 with no headlights.

The vehicle failed to stop and continued toward town. The vehicle came to a stop after turning on several city streets in a driveway on North Bramlett Street.

The driver, 40 year old Roger McDonald of Casey County, was arrested by Sheriff Brockman on the following charges:
  • Operating a motor vehicle under influence of drugs
  • Operating on DUI suspended license
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd degree
  • Possession Drug Paraphernalia
  • No Insurance
  • Failure to illuminate Headlights


McDonald was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.


NOTE: An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual placed under arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
