Business: Josh Harden is Manager of the Year Harden was born and raised in Columbia where he worked for farmers and milked cows in the morning before going to school. He graduated from Adair County High School in 1999, then served in the U.S. Army. Louisville, KY (February 18, 2019) - Josh Harden, Agency Manager of the Barren County - Cleveland Avenue Agency for Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance, has been named 2018 Agency Manager of the Year for District Two. The award was presented during the company's 64th annual sales conference, held in Louisville on February 14, 2019. The District Two Agency Manager of the Year award recognizes the agency manager who displayed the highest level of excellence in overall sales production, satisfactory loss-ratio, service to policyholders and an affirmative attitude. District Two is a 22-county region consisting of agencies in the following counties: Allen, Barren, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Butler, Cumberland, Edmonson, Grayson, Green, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Logan, Marion, Meade, Metcalfe, Monroe, Nelson, Simpson, Spencer, Warren and Washington. Harden was born and raised in Columbia, Kentucky, where he worked for farmers and milked cows in the morning before going to school. He graduated from Adair County High School in 1999. He then served in the U.S. Army. He contracted as an agent with Kentucky Farm Bureau in 2008, and he became Agency Manager of the Barren County - Cleveland Avenue Agency in July 2013. He and his wife, Melissa, have three sons, Blaine, Mason, and James, and a daughter, Sarah Beth. Harden is a board member with the Cumberland Family Medical Center and a member of the Brotherhood Free Will Baptist Church in Glasgow. Harden is the son of David and Margaret Smith Harden of Columbia, Kentucky. Harden heads the list of a well-established network of nearly 400 Kentucky Farm Bureau agents statewide.
