Betty Cross Drabik Palmer, 71, Columbia, KY (1947-2019)

Betty will be remembered by many from her years working in area restaurants, including Midtown Cafe and Circle R.

Betty Cross Drabik Palmer, 71, of Columbia died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at home from a long illness.

Betty chose cremation and a small gathering for family and friend celebrating her life will be held at a later date.


Betty was born on November 19, 1947 in Kalkaska, MI to the late Avery and Alice Stacey Cross. Betty was a waitress for many years in area restaurants including Midtown Cafe and Circle R Restaurant.

Betty is survived by:
  • Her husband David E. Palmer
  • A daughter Beverly A. Drabik
  • A son-in-law Joseph Kremer
  • Three grandsons Austin Morey and David J. Palmer both of Adair County and Michael Drabik of Gaylord, MI
  • Siblings Connie Thornell, Junior Austin, Donna Robbins (Marv), Loretta Gensen (Ray), Gladys Ballard (Leslie) and Larry Cross (Carol) all of Michigan.
