Ruel Stotts, 91, Jamestown, KY (1927-2019) Wildman was well known for his love for coon hunting and trading on various things. Ruel "Wildman" Stotts of Jamestown, KY and formerly of Columbia, KY, died Wednesday, February 06, 2019, at the Russell County Hospital. He was 91 years old. Funeral services will held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bill Warren officiating. Burial will follow in the Estes-McKinney Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT on Monday, February 11, at the funeral home. Born in the Breeding community of Adair Co. he was the son of the late William Bennett and Zella Stotts. Wildman was well known for his love for coon hunting and trading on various things. Survivors include nine children Yvonne Stotts Spoon of Orlando, FL, Debbie Glover of Jamestown, Shelia Stotts of Campbellsville, Melissa Stotts of Columbia, April Hitchcock of Columbia, Marlena Keith of Louisville, Pamela Stotts of Scottsdale, AZ, Alvin Stotts of Columbia and Jamie Stotts of Columbia; 26 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Josephine Stotts. Pallbearers will be Donnie Joe Melson, Eric Antle, David Hilty, John William Stubbs, Tommy Rector and Bobby Sullivan and honorary pallbearers will be his dog trading friends.
