Luther Groce, 71, Burkesville, KY (1947-2019) He was a former employee of W.A. Kendall and a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Luther Groce, age 71 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 02, 2019, at 1pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY, with burial to follow in Pruitt Cemetery. The family requests visitation on Friday, February 01, 2019, from 3pmCT until 9pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home. Luther was born on February 23, 1947 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Raymond Lester and Noxie Frances Long Groce. He was a former employee of W.A. Kendall and a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce White and her husband Buck, and one step son Patrick Pruitt.
