Stargel takes 3rd at Boyle Youth State-Warm Up Tournament

On Sunday, January 27, 2019, 13 year old ACMS student Trayton Stargel, who wrestles for the Taylor County Youth Wrestling Program traveled to Danville, KY, to participate in the Boyle County Youth State-Warm Up Tournament in the 136-144 pound weight division.

This tournament was a round-robin bracket and although Trayton and the other top 2 medal placing finalists lost only one match each, of their 5 total matches, it is based on a point system, which determines their placing.

This match was the last of the regular season and now Trayton is state bound on Sunday, February 3, 2019 to Broadbent Arena in Louisville, KY.
