Cattlemens Association meeting Tue 29 Jan 2019 By Teresa Bright The Adair County Cattlemens Association will have a meeting on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, beginning at 6pmCT at the Adair County Extension Office, 409 Fairground St., Columbia, KY. This will be the annual meeting for the Cattlemens Association. KY Ag Commissioner Ryan Quarles will be the special guest speaker. A chili contest will serve as the meal. Also at this meeting awards will be presented and officers will be elected. The Cattlemens Association is one of the largest organizations representing farmers. The local Association meets about six times a year, hosts an annual Field Day, and provides scholarship opportunities to Adair County students wishing to attend college. All members and prospective members are invited to attend. For more information about the Cattlemens Association, call the County Extension Office at 270-384-2317.
