Rainy, warm and windy today, high 54F, snow likely tonight

It's currently 50F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Expect rain today, mainly after 10amCT, and a high near 54F. It will be breezy, with a south wind 18 to 23 mph becoming west 9 to 14 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.

Tonight's low is predicted to be around 25F, which will change the rain to snow sometime before 11pmCT tonight. The chance of precipitation is 90% overnight. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.

Thursday should be partly sunny, with a high near 36F and west wind 8 to 11 mph. There is a chance of flurries again Thursday night. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12F. Northwest wind 8 to 14 mph.
