LWC Archery finishes fourth at MSC Championship By Christopher Coombs Madisonville, KY - Lindsey Wilson archery finished fourth at the Mid-South Conference Indoor Championship today. The Blue Raiders secured three individual podiums and five more team podiums en route to earning three silver and five bronze medals in the program's first-ever indoor conference championship. Cumberland (KY) finished in first place with 13 podiums, including earning eight gold medals. Pikeville (KY) finished second with 12 medals and Union ended in third with 11 medals. Based on their finish, five Blue Raiders punched their tickets to the Collegiate Indoor National Championships Feb. 8-10, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Cameron Curran took home a second-place finish in the men's basic bow discipline after he finished with 843 points. Pikeville's Andrew Blackburn took the title with a total score of 857. Drew Canos added a third-place finish during the men's recurve with 1,034 points to trail just Pikeville's Devin Gayheart and AJ Clements who finished in first and second place for the event. Casey Stickfort finished in third place of the women's basic bow discipline after tallying 692 total points. Gabe Crenshaw, Hunter Current and Dylan Hamilton teamed up for the men's compound team event to finish in third place after scoring 3,321 points. Nikki Bollman, Madison Hart and Ashlyn Scriven also took home bronze in the women's compound team competition with a total score of 3,376. Drake Bennett, Curran and Stickfort picked up 1,817 points and a second-place podium during the men's basic bow team event. Canos and Olivia Harner finished in second place of the mixed recurve team event after scoring 1,911 points, just 19 points behind Pikeville's Clements and Elizabeth Jones. Curran and Stickfort produced Lindsey Wilson's final podium finish after they teamed up for the basic bow mixed team event. The duo grabbed third place after totaling 1,535 points.
