Letter: ACJE Cowan says illegal dump being addressed

Adair County Judge Executive Cowan writes:
I just want to take this opportunity to let the citizens of Adair County know that the illegal dumping and roadside cleanup is a major concern of the new administration in the Judge's Office. Mr. Smith sent me this picture over the weekend and I began making calls and emails first thing this morning. The situation is being addressed.

Please be advised we are currently without a Solid Waste Director but my plan is to hire someone for this position this week.

If you are out in Adair County and notice an illegal dump, please contact my office with an address (or as close as you can) and we will check in to the matter. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to call my office at 270-384-4703.
