Mildred Jones, 79, Casey County, KY native (1939-2018) She was a devout Evangelist and a prayer warrior for anyone that had a need. She was an all-around wonderful Mother. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Mildred Jones, of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at James B. Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg, KY. She was 79. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET on Saturday, January 5, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. John Penick officiating. Burial will follow in Spaw Cemetery. Visitation is from 11-1pmCT/12-2pmET on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Mildred was a devout Evangelist and a prayer warrior for anyone that had a need. She was an all-around wonderful Mother. Born on June 16, 1939, in Casey County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Gilmer and Molly Gadberry. Mildred was a homemaker. Mildred is survived by Two daughters - Edith (and J.D.) Case of Burgin and Judy (and Barry) Johnson of Hustonville Three sons - Danny (and Jorene) Gadberry of Danville, Jerry (and Barbara) Jones of Harrodsburg and Cecil Jones, Jr. of Danville Twelve grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren Two sisters - Shirley (and Boyd) Wesley of Danville and Ruby Dick of Pulaski County A daughter-in-law - Mary Kay Jones of Danville, and numerous nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jones, Sr., who passed away on June 4, 1989; a son, Randy Jones; four sisters; and six brothers.
