Adair Board of Education December 2018 Report By Linda Waggener The December 2018 Adair County Board of Education included a thank you to board member Michael G. Payne who had been appointed to fill out the 2018 term of former board member Mike Harris who retired in May. Board Chair Lisa Burton presented a plaque of appreciation and said, "The Adair County School Board is very honored to have had Michael Payne serve these past months on the School Board." Newly elected Division 5 board member Troy Grider assumes that seat January 1, 2019. The meeting was held during the Christmas break. Superintendent Stephens said that school will resume on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Regular business matters were handled in a rare 15-minute meeting and ended with good Christmas and New Year wishes for everyone. The Adair County School Board meets at 6pmCT, each third Thursday, at the Board Conference Room, lower level, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Adair County Board of Education Members: Terry Harvey (Division 1); Daniel Adams (Division 2), Lisa Burton, (Division 3), Jonathan Gaskins (Division 4); Troy Grider (Division 5).
