Florine Moss Bagby, 90, Greensburg, KY (1928-2018)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Fry Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Florine Moss Bagby passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care in Greensburg, KY. She was 90 years old.

The funeral service will be at 11amCT on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY. Rev. Larry Wisdom will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery, Exie Community of Green County.

Visitation is requested from 9amCT Friday until the funeral hour at 11amCT.


Mrs. Florine Moss Bagby was born March 14, 1928 in Green County, KY to the late Willie Moss and Sophronia Houk Moss. She departed this life Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care in Greensburg, KY, having attained the age of ninety years, nine months and eleven days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Fry Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Bagby, one son-in-law: Rex Cook, five sisters and two brothers: Lillian Landis, Sylavine Carter, Albert Moss, Idalene Acree, Willard Moss, Juana Lee Landis and Mildred Jones and one brother-in-law: Russell Bagby.

She is survived by one daughter: Denise Cook of Greensburg, one grandson: Mike Tucker and his wife Nancy Milby Tucker, two grandchildren: Harley Tucker and Kayla Milby, one brother: Milburn Moss and his wife Maxine of Campbellsville, two brothers-in-law: Olen Bagby of Campbellsville, Garry Bagby of Greensburg and one sister-in-law: Trevor Sullivan of Greensburg.

Pallbearers: Olen Bagby, Doug Clark, Joey Clark, Wayne Allen Clark, Larry P. Clark, and James Luther Clark.

Honorary Pallbearers: Garry Bagby, Trevor Sullivan, Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care Employees.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
