Everyone invited to Christmas Sunday at Saloma Baptist From Bro. John and Cathy Pence Chowning Sending very Merry Christmas wishes from Saloma Baptist Church with invitations to worship Sunday, December 23, 2018 in two Christmas celebration services as summarized below. Everyone is invited as we come together to celebrate the Good News of the Advent of Jesus Christ. Schedules follow: Sunday, December 23, 10amCT/11amET Christmas Worship Service - special holiday music will be presented, and the Christmas message is titled "Where is He?" (Matthew 2:1-12). The children will light the Advent Candles, and we will join together in the reading of an Advent Prayer. Sunday, December 23, 5pmCT/6pmET Christmas Candlelight Communion Service - Christmas carols will be sung, special Christmas music will be presented, scripture will be shared, Christmas devotional thoughts offered, the Lord's Supper observed, and there will be a candlelight portion of the service where the "light of Christmas" is passed from one to another until all the candles held by worshipers are lighted.
