Retired Teachers hold quarterly meeting, collect items for charity

By Ellen Zornes

The Retired Teachers' Association held its quarterly meeting Monday, December 17, 2018 at Anderson's Pizza, 1411 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY. All retired teachers who live in Adair County are encouraged to attend regardless of where they taught.

Each one who attends is asked to bring items of canned foods for the local Food Pantry, and/or new children's underwear for the 'Drop Your Drawers' campaign patterned after books of the super hero Captain Underpants, that are taken to the Adair Public Library for distribution.
