Letter To The Editor

This article first appeared in issue 14, and was written by Carlos Lee Murray.

Like your idea for co-op whole grain bread.

I am part time here, part time Ottawa, Canada. Around here mostly in summer and fall, variable. I am a single person so would not require a lot, maybe one loaf of bread per week or something like that. I share your feelings about the fake bread that's available in the stores.

I am involved with herbs and am instigator of Ginseng Cooperative Group to help sustain forest & medicinal herbs.

I'm trained in polarity therapy and do yoga, intend to offer learning sessions.

In Ottawa I help organize non-profit exchange co-ops, where people can trade without money. Maybe do something like that here if find the right approach.

Just getting set up "camp" trailer on 768 East of Glensfork, about 1.5 miles.

PS-I hope to produce some organically grown sorghum molasses this year.

Mr. Murray, so many people have written, called, and /or come in whistling a bar of "Alice's Restaurant" that we know our cause is a movement! Because of the clandestine nature of our undertaking, you can appreciate the tight security we will have around this operation. There will be midnight runs to Shapiro's in Indianapolis and to many points in Chicago. We will be negotiating with Manhattan Bagel, possibly invoking the good name of Carl Harris to get the best price, and with Ronnie Camereri. Some of our operatives will be making contact with the Amish Community.

It is encouraging. So many people think that all they need is to get their abs and ceps in tone to achieve good health, when you and I know that European masseters are the most important.
