ACES annual Thankful for Our Veterans Program

Adair County Elementary School hosted their annual "Thankful for Our Veterans Program" on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. 5th grade students under the direction of Social Studies Teachers Angie Smith and Amanda Webster conducted this event.

The following 5th grade students were active participants in the program:
  • Abby Kemp offered the opening prayer
  • Kinzlee Akin made welcoming comments
  • Jenna Claywell sang the National Anthem
  • Kylie Redmon lead the Pledge of Allegiance
  • Natalie Bardin & Gabby Kemp presented a Storymaker Video
  • Katherine Lemmon, 5th grade poetry winner
  • Thomas Erler introduced the guest speaker
  • Remi Huckaby made closing remarks
  • Adrian Muse, Jaydon Jessie, Roberto Fuentes & Emma Berry were gift givers
  • Alexa Castrejon, Jaycee Keen, Sammie Jo Sandusky assisted
  • Maycee Hovious, Emma Bryant, Lily Neat were greeters
  • Josh Moss was the musical director
Mr. Levi Erler, father of ACES student Thomas Erler, was the guest speaker. Veterans were enlightened by songs from the 5th grade and the ACES student body.

ACES would like to also thank ROTC members from the Adair County High School for their participation in our program.
