Prayers for Mitzi, please say every prayer you know to say By Linda Waggener Our little warrior, Mitzi Bault, is in another battle with cancer - she has been on this walk now for eleven years - please join her family and friends in prayers. Please say every prayer you know to say in her behalf. After a day of tests, she posted in her nightly journal, "As many know, I have battled cancer for many years. I tried to stay positive. I have beaten the odds twice so now I am going to try to do it again. I am going for three times... Sometimes it’s hard to keep going... I will get through this. I am going to get through..." To those of us close to Mitzi, we are amazed at her. She is our sunflower, bringing in rays of sunshine wherever she goes, brightening our spirits, lifting us up. She embodies my favorite quote, "Go into the world and preach the gospel, and when necessary, use words." With her words and deeds every day, she preaches peace and love and mutual respect and forgiveness and keeping on going, no matter what. She is in Nortons Suburban Hospital in Louisville with her Ricky at her side - she asks for prayers for both of them. I echo that request for prayers for her healing and for their strength, and their safe return home to Columbia. Lots of love to that girl from McKinley Lane who always signs off her evening posts, "...Hope all had a great day, lots of love from McKinley Lane... Nite."
