Letter: kudos to good bus diver, shame on ones not stopping when sign is out Lou Ann Flanagan writes: We were following a bus Thursday, Nov 8, 2018 on Tutt Street and the bus driver would have to basically block the road to keep cars from flying by. One even pulled out of their drive as the bus was getting ready to unload. Kudos to the bus driver for watching over the students and shame on the drivers who kept trying to pass the bus when the stop sign was out! This happens everywhere and we need to call out those drivers and thank the bus drivers who do all they can to protect our students. --Lou Ann Thank you for this good reminder! Citizens can contribute to highway safety by calling KSP toll-free at 1-800-222-5555. Calls can confidentially report impaired drivers or any criminal activity - just like what is described here. A free KSP mobile phone app is available to download to cell phones. The app provides quick, direct access to KSP including weather, road and traffic information as well as text, voice and photo tip capabilities to report criminal behavior. The app is available for IPhone, IPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple or Google Play stores. Download the KSP mobile app by searching “KSPOLICE” in the app store and you can also follow along on twitter @KYStatePolice. This story was posted on 2018-11-12 15:19:41
