Construction work continues on LBN and I65 By Wes Watt Included in the expected traffic impacts in District 3 for November 5 through November 9 are the continued bridge maintenance along the LBN/Cumberland Parkway, and a major resurfacing project on I65. All work is subject to change. Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway, in Barren and Metcalfe Counties: Work to continue on a bridge maintenance contract on various bridges along the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway. The work will consist of cleaning, painting and applying a concrete coating to 28 bridges along the parkway. Expect lane closures to be in place at various bridges along the parkway and on the routes that pass beneath. Interstate 65: A major resurfacing project has started between mile marker 35 and mile marker 44 in both directions.
