Willard Pritchard, 78, Glens Fork, KY (1939-2018)

Willard was an active member of the Columbia Christian Church. Along with his wife and family, he served the Lord faithfully as a missionary and member of Wycliffe Bible Translators for 23 years.

Willard Pritchard, 78 of the Glens Fork Community slipped into the Lord's presence October 31, 2018 at 8amCT at his home after a short illness.

Funeral services will be 10amCT on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. Bro. Terry White will officiate. Burial will follow in the Grant Cemetery at Glens Fork.

Visitation will be after 3:30pmCT on Friday, November 2, at the funeral home.


Willard was an active member of the Columbia Christian Church. Along with his wife and family, he served the Lord faithfully as a missionary and member of Wycliffe Bible Translators for 23 years. After returning to the United States he became a funeral director for 15 years in Kentucky and Texas. After retirement he moved to Kentucky and worked at WalMart until 2016.

He was born November 10, 1939 in San Bernadino, CA the son of the late Willard and Kathern King Pritchard.

He is survived by
  • His wife, Marsha Pritchard, of Glens Fork, KY
  • Three daughters, Carol Klingberg (Mark) of Glens Fork, KY Sharon Sinarahua of Carol Springs, Illinois and Linda Pritchard of Ft. Worth, Texas
  • One brother, George Pritchard (Vicki) of Prescott Valley, Arizona, sister in law Darlene Pritchard of Houston, Texas
  • Six grandchildren, Andrew Klingberg (Amanda), Erik Klingberg (Danielle) Kurt Klingberg (Brittany) Emily Keltner (Ethan), Hannah and Nathan Sinaurhua
  • Great-grandchildren Joseph, Dayton, Alex, Hillary, Benson, Elayna, Noah, Levi
  • Other relatives and friends.
