Durham and his little son Alden, and Mr. Durham's mother, Mrs. M.E. Durham, we're en route to Greensburg, to be present at the marriage of Mrs. Durham's granddaughter, they met with an accident while crossing Skinhouse Branch, 8 miles from Colombia. The buggy upset and all three were dumped into the stream. Mrs. Durham got considerably hurt, but there will be no serious results."The reference to young Aldon is the late Oma Alden (O.A. - Cotton) Durham, father of Henry Hunter Durham, Attorney At Law, Public Square, Columbia, KY.
