A DOWNTOWN

AMBASSADOR

Donna Vaughn brings

Miss Lake Cumberland

pageant downtown

When Donna Vaughn was asked to serve as Executive Director of the Miss Lake Cumberland Scholarship Pageant she had one stipulation, it had to be held downtown. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, at 2 p.m. at The Columbian Theatre.

The pageant will award more than $80,000 in scholarships to the winners. The next step for Miss LC is to represent the Lake Cumberland area in the Miss Kentucky Pageant in Lexington in June, then the Miss Kentucky winner will compete in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey in September.

Anyone interested in applying for the women's or the Little Miss pageant, or in securing tickets for the event, should contact Donna Vaughn at 502-384-3110.
