The Adair County Fiscal Court is accepting applications for a temporary part-time Occupational Tax Director.

Job Description: Occupational Tax Director will be responsible in pursing new and existing business within Adair County and ensure they are registered for occupational tax, setup new applicants in tax software program correctly and timely, produce payroll tax bills quarterly and annually as designated as the most recent tax ordinance, receive and post payments for tax bills to the proper account and in the correct amount, file tax bills and send notices for non-payments and late payments.

Applications are to be picked up and returned to the Adair County Judge Executive's office at 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY 42728. Applications will be accepted until 4pmCT on January 20, 2026.
